Community enjoys a night of fun and martinis at 2024 ARTini fundraiser

Shreveport, Louisiana

The 14th annual ARTini fundraiser is in full swing at Sam’s Town Casino and Hotel in downtown Shreveport. On Saturday, June 8, hundreds of people gathered at ARTini hosted by Bossier Arts Council. The event showcases hand-painted martini glasses, live music, food and a selection of martinis from Shreveport-Bossier’s most popular restaurants and bars.

Highlights of the Event

The theme for this year is rhinestone cowboy, adding a touch of glamour and excitement to the evening. Attendees were treated to a feast for the senses with visually stunning martini glasses, delicious food, and a variety of martinis to sample.

Artini committee chair, Emerie Holtclaw, expressed the significance of the event, stating, “Tonight is ARTini. That is a martini cocktail competition, and it raises the most important funds for the Bossier Arts Council. So, all year long Bossier Arts Council brings programming of the arts to the community, and this event funds that through the year, whether it’s summer camps, theater programming, or different events in the East Bank Plaza.”

Sold-out Success

This year’s ARTini was a huge success, with tickets selling out quickly as community members showed their support for the arts. The Bossier Arts Council is already looking ahead to next year’s event, planning to make it even bigger and better.

Conclusion

The 14th annual ARTini fundraiser brought together the community for a night of fun, creativity, and philanthropy. As attendees enjoyed the festive atmosphere and sampled a variety of martinis, they also contributed to the continued support of arts programming in the region. The success of this event highlights the importance of art and culture in bringing people together and enriching the community.
