Shreveport is buzzing with excitement as the city announces that applications for the Paint Your Heart Out Shreveport (PYHOS) 2025 program are officially open! This wonderful community initiative is designed to help homeowners aged 62 and older, or those with disabilities, give their homes a fresh coat of paint—absolutely free of charge.

Who Can Apply?

The program, managed by the Department of Community Development, Bureau of Housing & Business Development, focuses on supporting those who might not have the resources to maintain their homes. If you or someone you know meets the age or disability requirements, this is a fantastic opportunity!

How to Participate
