50 Cent Plans Investment in Shreveport With G-Unit Studios, Says Longtime Friend

Plans to Transform Millennium Studios into G-Unit Studios

Shreveport, Louisiana – The former Millennium Studios is set to receive a multimillion-dollar investment from notable rapper and businessman Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. Jackson’s long-term friend and representative, Orville Hall, stated that at least $20 million is expected to go into transforming the facility into the superstar’s G-Unit Studios.

Hall further commented, “What we know is getting that building up and running as soon as possible is what’s going to benefit everybody.” He also mentioned Jackson’s interest in hiring local talent, thus having a positive influence on the city’s economy and job market.

Plans for the Local Creative Community

“The goal is to renovate that building and get this city back” in the movie and television business, revealed Hall. A call is set to be made for local talents, inviting them to take headshots for a prepared actors’ database. The plan is to make this database available to production companies that come into the city.

Emphasis on Education

Additionally, Hall revealed plans to incorporate acting school into local schools. This initiation aims to foster creative expression among the younger generation and equip them with the necessary skills, aiding in the local film and entertainment industry.

Humor & Harmony Weekend

On top of this exciting development, Jackson is all set to host the upcoming Humor & Harmony Weekend. This event will feature several engaging activities such as a comedy show, concert, and a talent show. The event will occur at a local casino and aims to further ignite the local creative scene.

Investment in Downtown Shreveport

50 Cent isn’t stopping his investment with the Millennium Studios. He has reportedly purchased almost a dozen properties in downtown Shreveport. As these properties unfold, his team indicates that information regarding job opportunities will be made available to the public.

A Win for Shreveport

“50 has come in and he has realized the city is capable. All we’re going to do is help them grow their database so the citizens of Shreveport can get every opportunity that’s coming to this city,” stated Hall, expressing optimism about the upcoming ventures and dedication to improving the probability of the local workforce.
