SHREVEPORT, La. – On Armed Forces Day, veterans from across the region came together at Bossier City for the 2nd annual Veterans Expo hosted by VFW Post 4588. The event served as a platform for veterans to access a wealth of information and resources to aid them in various aspects of their lives.
Importance of the Event
Commander Randy Campbell, the organizer of the event, emphasized the importance of the Veterans Expo. “Today, we are having a veterans expo. We brought out LifeShare Blood. We will be able to give out donations of bloods. The VA’s hospital [is also here] so that they can come out with information for veterans. Guitars for Vets, a couple of the funeral homes to help people,” Campbell shared.

The event saw the participation of various organizations dedicated to supporting veterans in different aspects of their lives. LifeShare Blood was present to facilitate blood donations, while the VA’s hospital provided information crucial for veterans. Additionally, Guitars for Vets and funeral homes extended their support to attendees.
