The accused, a 39-year-old woman from Bossier City, Kimberly Denise Halmon, was taken into custody on Monday morning (May 27). Multiple charges were raised against her, including an aggravated count of arson, possession of Schedule II narcotics, theft, and resisting an officer. Furthermore, she was accused of being an in-state fugitive. Currently, Halmon is held at the Caddo Correctional Center.
A Second Fire, Another Arrest
A second incident was reported within the Jolie Apartments on Tuesday, May 28, for which another arrest was made. The 29-year-old Tyvesha Boles, a resident of Shreveport, was arrested under the charge of arson. She remains in custody in the Shreveport City Jail.
