Three Dead, Several Injured in Tragic Crash Involving Stolen Vehicle
SHREVEPORT, La. – In a shocking turn of events, three people have been killed and several injured following a high-speed crash involving a stolen vehicle.
The Sad Reality
The deadly crash occurred approximately at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, in the intersection of North Market Street and McDaniel Drive. Responding to the distress call, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene to find a stolen 2005 Toyota Camry overturned. The horrific incident resulted in three fatalities and multiple injuries, leaving the community shell-shocked.
At least four people, including some with severe injuries, were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for immediate medical care. Conditions of the injured are not known at this point.
Investigation Details
Initial investigation findings suggest that the Camry was speeding south on North Market Street when it tragically veered off the road. After hitting two curbs and a tree, the car turned turtle before coming to a rest, leaving some occupants thrown out from the vehicle as they were not wearing seat belts.
