Elderly Resident Saved During Early Morning House Fire
Shreveport, La. – An elderly resident was fortunate to escape a dangerous house fire early this morning in the Caddo Heights neighborhood. The Shreveport Fire Department (SFD) received an emergency call at 6:05 a.m., and multiple fire units promptly responded to the scene located on Clanton Street.

Firefighters arrived to find flames visibly leaping from the front window of the residence. Thanks to the quick actions of the SFD, the elderly individual was found inside and successfully rescued from the burning home. Emergency personnel provided immediate treatment for minor smoke inhalation and other medical issues right on the scene.
