This September 17th, the vibrant community of Shreveport will come together to celebrate Constitution Day. The events will unfold all day at Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS), culminating in a film screening at The Robinson Film Center. This special day is aimed at enhancing understanding of the U.S. Constitution and its relevance in today’s world.

From morning until evening, attendees can immerse themselves in various educational activities designed to pique interest and provoke thought. One of the highlights will be access to exhibits showcasing the U.S. Constitution, set up on the first and third floors of the Noel Memorial Library on the LSUS campus. Making your voice heard is crucial in a democracy, and that’s why a voter registration drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Center Lobby, right next to The Port Grille. The day will culminate with a showing of the classic film Citizen Kane at 6 p.m. at The Robinson Film Center.
