Shreveport Police on the Hunt for Armed Robbery Suspects

Hey there, Shreveport! We’ve got some serious news that you might want to pay attention to. The local police department is currently on the lookout for two men accused of committing a carjacking at gunpoint!

What Happened?

On August 14, around 4:30 p.m., officers rushed to the scene after a call came in reporting a carjacking in the 3700 block of Richmond Street. This is just a stone’s throw away from Mall St. Vincent, in the bustling South Highlands area of our lovely city.

According to the victim’s statement, he was approached by two men who told him to get out of his car. Not only did they steal his vehicle, but they also swiped his wallet and cellphone before driving off with his car. Talk about a terrifying experience! Weeks later, the car was recovered in none other than Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Identifying the Suspects

Thanks to the hard work of our local law enforcement, the suspects have been identified as two men in their early twenties: Jeremiah Johnson and Jaivion White. Both are 22 years old and have ties to the Shreveport-Bossier area, which means they could very well be in the vicinity. Police have reported that both men were armed during the robbery, making them armed and dangerous.

What’s Next?

As of December 5, arrest warrants have been issued for both Johnson and White. They are wanted for armed robbery and armed robbery with a firearm. The bond for both men has been set at a hefty $300,000.

If You See Them, Don’t Approach

Here’s the important part: If you happen to spot either of these men, do not approach them under any circumstances! The police are urging folks who see them to call the authorities immediately at 318-673-7300. You can also share any tips or information about their whereabouts with Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
