A Leader with Local Roots
Wade’s journey started right here in Shreveport, where he developed a love for music and the arts. He graduated from Centenary College with a degree in Music Composition and Theory. After kicking off his career in Los Angeles in 2001 as a film composer, Wade couldn’t resist the allure of home. The post-Hurricane Katrina film boom in the Shreveport-Bossier area, filled with potential and promise, called him back in 2007.
Returning home was a significant step, and Wade quickly became a pivotal figure in the local film scene. He joined Millennium Studios, where he took on the role of studio manager and acted as an unofficial liaison, bringing major film projects to the region. For over a decade, he played a crucial part in nurturing the local film industry, helping it flourish and grow.
New Beginnings in Economic Development
In 2022, when the City of Shreveport acquired Millennium Studios, Wade adapted to new changes. He transitioned to the Economic Development team, where he continued to support and drive the growth of the film industry while also stepping into the role of Superintendent for Independence Stadium. This role involved managing operations and orchestrating events like the Independence Bowl, bridging his love for film with the vibrant local culture.

Wade’s appointment marks a significant step in revitalizing the Shreveport-Bossier Film & Entertainment Commission in alignment with the 10-year Destination Masterplan spearheaded by Visit Shreveport-Bossier.
