Sponsor Our ArticlesHey cigar enthusiasts! If you’re looking for a great way to indulge in your favorite pastime and connect with fellow aficionados, mark your calendars for September 28. Bossier City is about to light up in a swirl of rich aromas and enjoyable experiences at the inaugural Bayou Cigar Fest 2024, hosted by the Club Macanudo at the beautiful Margaritaville Resort & Casino. This event promises to be a delightful “day of indulgence and camaraderie,” so you won’t want to miss it!
Get ready for an exclusive evening limited to just 150 ticket holders. That means more room to relax, socialize, and truly savor the experience. Austin Ihm, the marketing director for Southern Smoke Cigar Company and the local face of the Club Macanudo franchise, has a fantastic lineup planned. He excitedly shared, “We’re going to give away eight handpicked, hand-rolled cigars to everyone who comes.” Doesn’t that sound awesome?
This event is all about setting the right mood. Expect to indulge in superb hors d’oeuvres while enjoying drinks and, of course, smoking some incredibly crafted cigars. You can kick back by the pool and soak in the atmosphere at the casino. It’s a great opportunity to engage in good conversation and share good stories with like-minded cigar lovers.
Christopher Weaver from Southern Smoke mentioned that, “We will be introducing some limited and rare cigars, some of which are exclusive to Club Macanudo.” While this year’s fest is designed to be more intimate, there are exciting plans for a bigger event next year. So, keep your eyes peeled for what’s to come!
The fest will take place in a newly opened space that aims to ensure maximum comfort and enjoyment for every attendee. Thanks to a unique air handling system, the atmosphere will remain pleasant without being overbearing. Joe Salpietra, one of the club’s principals, emphasized, “It’s not a bar crowd. It’s a club/lounge crowd. Cigar lounges are where you can sit down and have a good conversation with someone.” Sounds just right, doesn’t it?
As if the experience itself wasn’t enough, attendees will also receive two drink tickets specially paired to complement the selection of cigars. Additionally, there will be a raffle with five exciting prize packages aimed at cigar enthusiasts. Plus, every ticket holder will receive a bonus gift when they check in for the evening!
For those looking to take home a piece of the experience, exclusive items will be available from the club’s vendors as unique souvenirs. The Bayou Cigar Fest will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is the perfect way to unwind after a long week.
Ready to join in on the cigar celebration? Tickets are priced at $150, and they can be purchased online as well as at the club. Don’t wait too long, as they’re expected to sell out fast!
