From Nov. 1-3, buckle up for a wintery adventure as Disney on Ice Presents Frozen & Encanto rolls into town! This incredible ice-skating show combines stunning performances with beloved tunes from the animated movies that captured our hearts. Make sure to sing along! The show starts at 7 p.m. each night at the Brookshire Grocery Arena, located in south Bossier City. Tickets are available now, so don’t miss out on this magical experience!
If you’ve ever dreamed of dancing like no one’s watching, or if you just want to learn something new, the Southern Swingers Square Dance Club has you covered! Join every Tuesday starting Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at Promenade Hall. This free class is for all ages, and no experience is necessary—just come in your comfortable shoes and a positive spirit!
But that’s not all! On Nov. 7, get set for a lively evening filled with dance hall fun. From 6 p.m., join Ivan and Vicky Bean for lessons while enjoying live music by Brandy Roberts on keyboard and Kerry Hunter on drums. Admission is just $15 for lessons or $10 if you just want to dance. Don’t forget to grab your friends for an unforgettable night!
If you’re a runner, the Fun Run 5K at Walker Place Park on Nov. 9 is the perfect way to enjoy the fall weather while supporting a fantastic cause. Hosted by Cultivating Valuable Change, this event is only $20 per person or $100 per team. Registration kicks off at 7 a.m., with all proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Lace up your running shoes and get moving to make a difference!
Hold on to your hats because the Real Cowboy Association is bringing the National Black Rodeo Finals to Bossier City on Nov. 9 at 8 p.m.. This thrilling event highlights the talents of kids, cowboys, and cowgirls competing for championship prizes. And don’t forget to mark your calendars for Nov. 30. Kick off the Holidays on the Red with a thrilling night of fireworks, a drone light show, and even a visit from Santa himself! The celebration starts at 4 p.m. at the Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets—with the tree lighting at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 7:15 p.m.. Bring the whole family and join in on the fun!
