Shreveport to Host Enchanting Bridgerton-themed Ball for Two Nights in August

The Exciting Bridgerton Ball Arrives in Shreveport

Shreveport is buzzing with excitement as it prepares to host The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience for two enchanting nights this August. Based on the popular Netflix series, this Regency era-inspired event is set to captivate attendees and transport them to a world of elegance and romance.

What to Expect at the Ball

Taking place at the charming North Market Venue, owned by local entrepreneur Nicole McGowan, the event sold out quickly after its announcement, surprising even the organizers. McGowan expressed her amazement, saying, “I had no idea that it would be such a hit.”

Event Details

The Bridgerton experience will unfold over two evenings, with festivities scheduled for August 30 and August 31. As guests arrive, they will be greeted by glowing chandeliers, flickering candles, lavish floral displays, and a live string quartet setting the mood for an unforgettable night.

Dining and Dancing

Attendees have the option to enjoy a premium 5-Course Dinner & Ball Ticket or the Society Member of the Ton ticket for just the ball. Those opting for the dinner can expect to be seated at 6 p.m., where the meal prepared by Shaver’s Catering will be paired with delightful string music throughout.

After dinner, guests can mingle during a cocktail hour while the venue transforms for the ball. Doors will open for the ball attendees at around 7:30 p.m.. The evening will kick off with a Queen’s Presentation, where the much-anticipated Diamond of the Season will be chosen.

Dance the Night Away

Once the royal formalities are complete, the fun continues! Guests will enjoy modern instrumental music perfect for dancing. Attendees can waltz and savor an endless flow of champagne. To keep the festive atmosphere alive, a DJ will later perform classical renditions of popular songs, blending the modern with the traditional.

Dress Code

In the spirit of the Regency era, attendees are encouraged to don their finest Regency attire. McGowan humorously advised, “We definitely don’t want to outshine the Queen. So hopefully, everyone’s coming in Daphne style or Eloise style dresses!”

Conclusion

As the excitement builds for The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience, Shreveport is ready to embrace the elegance and charm of the Regency era. This unique opportunity promises to be a night filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Mark your calendars for August 30 and August 31—it’s going to be a night to remember!
