A local business owner in Shreveport, Louisiana, is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest in a recent burglary case at his establishment. This reward is in addition to the payout from Caddo-Shreveport Crime Stoppers, a community program developed to encourage public involvement in crime-solving.
The owner of the Shreveport-Bossier Pain Clinic, who wishes to remain anonymous, reported that the burglary occurred while he was away due to a tornado disaster. On June 30, when he returned to his business located in the 7900 block of Line Avenue, he discovered the premises appeared to have been forcibly entered, with an estimated loss of over $20,000 worth of property.
Despite an ongoing investigation, local authorities report that they have received no leads to date.
Anyone with information concerning the break-in is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373 or utilize their P3Tips app. Crime Stoppers is an anonymous tip service, ensuring that they are after your information, not your identity.
This incident aligns with an increasing trend of burglary in the Shreveport area, leading to heightened concerns among local business owners and residents. Authorities are taking these incidents seriously and are actively working to catch the culprits and create a safe environment for the community.
Meanwhile, the traumatized owner has urged other local businesses to boost their security measures to prevent similar incidents.
