Carry The Load set to Move through Bossier City on Wednesday
The public in Bossier City will have the opportunity to walk with Carry The Load’s National Relay on Wednesday to honor and remember our nation’s fallen military and first responders. Carry The Load’s mission is to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day and has grown into a nationwide movement with five routes covering 20,000 miles across 48 states.
Honoring Fallen Heroes
The group is expected to walk through the Teague Parkway Recreation Area and Walker Place Park in Bossier City. They will gather at the Teague Parkway Recreation Area shortly after 5 p.m. and begin walking at 5:30. The national relay kickstarted in Dallas on Memorial Day weekend, aiming to cover a significant distance in tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
