The highly anticipated gala, known for its extravagant displays and charitable efforts, will be embracing the glitz and glamour of Sin City with the theme “Sinsational It’s Las Vegas Baby,” curated by the event’s chairperson, Heidi Kallenberg.
The annual Christmas in the Sky fundraiser has become a staple in the ArkLaTex region, attracting over 2,500 guests from near and far. This year, attendees can expect a dazzling array of experiences inspired by the spirit of Las Vegas, including Cirque d’Sky, Elvis’ Love Me Tender Chapel, Lady Luck’s Casino, and more.
One of the highlights of Christmas in the Sky is the live auction featuring a vast array of donated items ranging from original artwork and travel experiences to haute fashion and collectibles. With over 1,000 items up for grabs, guests can bid on treasures from local artists and businesses, as well as unique offerings from around the world.
To complement the auction, Chef Ryan Gillespie and a team of esteemed chefs will be serving up a sumptuous feast featuring a variety of culinary delights at the event. The evening will also be filled with libations provided by Republic National Beverage Company, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, and other sponsors.
Proceeds from Christmas in the Sky will go towards funding free community arts programs for the next two years, including the ArtBreak Festival, arts in education, Glo Fests, and more. The event plays a vital role in supporting the vibrant arts scene in Shreveport-Bossier and enriching the lives of residents through creative experiences.
