City Bank Opens Newest Location in Bossier City

City Bank Opens Newest Location in Bossier City

Grand Opening Celebration

On Friday, April 19, 2024, hundreds of community members converged in Bossier City, LA, to celebrate the grand opening of the freshest City Bank & Trust Company location. This marked the seventh branch opening for the bank that initially commenced its operations in Natchitoches back in 1933.

The bank, which began its expansion to the Shreveport-Bossier area about five years ago, invited attendees to mingle, savor a scrumptious lunch, and engage in the jubilation of the burgeoning financial institution’s grand achievement.

Building Strong Customer Relationships

The newest City Bank location in Bossier City offers a unique, community-focused engagement: weekly Friday meetings at 8:30 a.m. Here, customers and community members are welcome to enjoy donuts and coffee while discussing innovative ideas and local happenings.

The new 10,000 square foot branch encapsulates the warm and inviting aura of classic banking practices – making a clear statement of the bank’s commitment to forging substantial relationships with its customers.

Strategically Located to Serve a Growing Community

City Bank’s decision to set a foothold in Bossier was driven by extensive research that indicated growing population mobility to Bossier, approximately 10,000 individuals per year. John Ackel, the President, and CEO of City Bank expressed his anticipation for the bank’s future by stating, “We knew we wanted two locations, one on each side of the Red River. We have one in Caddo and one in Bossier and we are really doing a lot of business up here.”

The New Bossier City Branch

For those interested in exploring the new branch, they can head over to 4630 East Texas St. in Bossier City. As Bossier City welcomes the newest addition to its banking sector, City Bank & Trust Company continues to deliver its promise of solid customer relationships and reliable banking service to the Shreveport-Bossier area, reinforcing its strong community presence built over many decades.
