Most notably, they donated a new compactor to the Bossier Parish Police Jury to replace five dumpsters behind the courthouse. The compactor facilitates the recycling of cardboard and paper, promoting sustainability in the community.

Veterans Memorial Resurfacing Plans

In a heartfelt moment during the meeting, citizen activist Cassie Rogers brought attention to the Bossier Caddo Veterans Memorial located outside the municipal complex. She expressed gratitude to the Mayor’s office for confirming that plans are underway to resurface the memorial. This renovation is sure to enhance the area and pay homage to the sacrifices made by local veterans.

Rogers also invited fellow veterans and their families to consider purchasing commemorative bricks at the site, as there are still some spots available.
