Chairman Michael Corbin of the DDA Board expressed optimism about the process, stating that the board and search committee plan to reconvene by the end of next week. Corbin emphasized the importance of diligence in their selection process, stating, “At this point, we’re doing our due diligence. Glad that we’re using the search firm to assist us with this and we think the outcome is going to be good for downtown Shreveport.”

As Shreveport awaits the results of the selection process, the community is hopeful that a strong leader will take the helm of the DDA, providing fresh ideas and direction for the city’s downtown development.
