Upon receiving a report of a shooting around 12:20 am, the Shreveport Police Department rushed to the 5600 block of St. Vincent Avenue near Clanton Street. The officers were met with a grisly scene. A car was discovered off the roadway, its wheels sunk deep in the grass. Inside the vehicle were the bodies of a man and a woman, both having sustained gunshot wounds to their heads. Authorities have not identified the victims at this time.

The Shreveport Fire Department also responded quickly to the scene and, after assessment, declared both victims deceased. Further details about the victims’ identities or the exact cause of death are yet to be revealed by the authorities.
While no arrests have been made so far, the police launched an immediate investigation into this shocking double murder. Efforts are being made to identify the victims, understand the circumstances leading up to their deaths, and find leads on potential suspects.
