Shreveport Man Injured In Drive-by Shooting Incident

SHREVEPORT, La. – Yesterday evening, a man was injured in a drive-by shooting incident near Huntington in Shreveport on the quiet 800 block of Huntington Ln. The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) arrived on the scene promptly after receiving a shots fired call shortly after 8 p.m.

Details of the Shooting

The unidentified male victim was reportedly shot in the left hand, pinky, and upper arm, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. Following the incident, he was transported to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport for immediate treatment. No further details on his current condition have been released by the hospital.

The SPD, in its preliminary investigation, revealed that the suspect’s vehicle is possibly a Crown Victoria or a red/orange Dodge Charger. The local law enforcement hope that this description might assist in a swift resolution of the case.

A KTBS’ photographer who arrived at the scene soon after the incident reported sighting approximately 20 9mm shell casings scattered on the ground near the crime scene.
