Amazon Fulfillment Center Shreveport
Shreveport, Louisiana – The Amazon Fulfillment Center located in Shreveport is set to commence posting positions starting on Friday, July 5th. The listings will be going live at 7:00 p.m., as stated by the officials of the venture.
To cater to everyone’s needs, diverse schedules, including hourly, seasonal, and flexible ones, will be offered to the candidates. Around 1000 positions will be posted gradually, in batches of 300-400 at a time, until all vacancies are filled.
The hourly wage will be set around $17, along with added benefits. Every Friday at 7 p.m., new job lists will be posted untill all the spots are filled.
Candidates who are intending to apply don’t need to go through the traditional process of submitting a resume or an interview, as per Rep. Steven Jackson’s statement. Even those with a history of non-violent convictions are also encouraged to apply.
The move by the Amazon Fulfillment Center can be seen as a significant boost for local employment in Shreveport. Not only are the job opportunities diverse, but also the easy application process is expected to attract a more significant number of applicants.
This venture will be beneficial in eradicating unemployment and improving the standard of living of citizens by providing a decent wage.
