Give for Good gets an early start in 2024

Shreveport, Louisiana – The giving spirit of the ArkLaTex is about to shine.

Save the date. Give for Good 2024 is set for May 7, but the good news is, you don’t have to wait. Tuesday is the kick-off for giving to more than 200 nonprofits in North Louisiana.

Established in 2014 by Community Foundation of North Louisiana, Give for Good has raised over $19 million for our community. The event empowers the entire community to get involved in causes they care about while building awareness and support for hardworking local nonprofits. Give for Good provides a platform for all donors to transform our community for good.

Donors participating in Give for Good choose which organizations will receive their donations and check out in one easy step. It was a banner year for Give for Good 2023. Thanks to the giving spirit of donors, $2,755,633.00 was raised for 209 organizations. There was a total of 4,412 donors.

Give for Good kicks off on May 2, 2024

Once again, save the date for this year’s Give for Good. The big day is Tuesday, May 7. If you would like to learn more or become involved, contact the Community Foundation at 318-221-0582.

Be sure and join us on May 2, at 6:30 p.m. on KTBS 3 and 9:30 p.m. on KPXJ CW 21 as we highlight some of the organizations benefiting from Give for Good.
