SHREVEPORT, La. – A horrific incident occurred on Monday, June 10, as a male sitting in his car was fatally shot at a Sunoco gas station on the intersection of Hollywood and Jewella Avenue at approximately 8:23 p.m.
Authorities rushed to the scene upon receiving information about the shooting. A Caddo coroner’s office van also arrived shortly after to examine the scene. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released yet as the local authorities are in the process of notifying the victim’s family.
According to witness recounts and preliminary investigations, the suspected shooter fled the scene in a black SUV, heading eastbound. No arrests have been made at this point, and the suspect remains at large.
