They chose to mark the holiday at a historical and Black-owned establishment that they frequent regularly. The event provided them with an opportunity to enjoy great food and music while honoring the legacy of Juneteenth.
The festivities kicked off at 5 p.m. and continued until 8 p.m., with a lineup that included live entertainment, music, poetry, games, and a delectable spread of food and drinks. Attendees were treated to a vibrant and lively atmosphere, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and cultural pride.
