Casino construction outreach fair
Louisiana-based and minority subcontractors and suppliers are being invited to participate in the construction of the $270+ million Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana project in Bossier City. The Cordish Companies and AnderCorp will host an outreach fair on March 14 to discuss contracting and procurement opportunities as well as business policies related to the project.
The outreach fair will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on March 14 in the ballroom at the construction site of Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana, located at 711 Live Casino Blvd. in Bossier City. The event aims to connect representatives of more than a dozen major subcontractors with Louisiana-based subcontractors and suppliers, with a focus on those owned and operated by minorities, women, and veterans.
Attendees at the fair will learn about procurement opportunities and business policies for contractors interested in participating in the Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana project, which is scheduled to open in early 2025. No registration is required to attend the event, and vendors across various categories will be considered for goods and services such as gaming operations, hotel operations, engineering, food and beverage, and more.
For more information on vendor opportunities, visit the official website.
For purchasing inquiries, interested parties can send an email to purchasing@livech.com. Those with construction-related questions can reach out to construction@livech.com. Vendors are also encouraged to fill out the vendor packet to ensure compliance with state regulations.
This outreach fair follows previous announcements about the Cordish Companies’ plans to transform the property into Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana with a $270 million renovation. The project is expected to create up to 1,500 jobs and bring significant economic development to the region.
