Man Wanted for Allegedly Battering Pregnant Woman

Shreveport, Louisiana – Authorities are on the hunt for a man identified as Phillip Crutchfield, accused of battering a seven-month pregnant woman. The incident reportedly took place in the 4300 block of Illinois Street, Shreveport, and left no serious injuries, thankfully.

Response to Domestic Violence Incident

According to information released by local law enforcement agencies, officers were dispatched to respond to a distress call associated with a violent domestic episode. Upon arriving at the location, the victim, Crutchfield’s live-in girlfriend and the mother of his children, reported the physical abuse.

The victim who wishes to remain anonymous, bravely narrated her chilling ordeal. She is currently seven months pregnant and allegedly suffered battery at the hands of Crutchfield.

Investigation and Arrest Warrant

Following the accusations, detectives from the local domestic violence unit initiated an investigation into the unsettling matter. Within days of the incident, the authorities released an arrest warrant for Crutchfield, charging him with Domestic Abuse Battery upon a Pregnant Victim and Domestic Abuse Battery 3rd Offense.

Call for Public Assistance in Locating the Suspect

The local police department is actively seeking Crutchfield and is urging anyone who may have information that could lead to his whereabouts to come forward. Members of the public can either contact the local police directly at their official telephone line or through Crime Stoppers, a local community resource offering a confidential platform to share critical information.

Law enforcement agencies have reassured the public of their commitment towards ensuring the safety and well-being of all community members. They emphasized the importance of reporting domestic violence incidents promptly and seeking assistance from local support systems.

Domestic Violence Within Our Communities

This incident is a harrowing reminder of the ongoing issue of domestic violence many people face within our communities daily. It underscores the importance of vigilance, community outreach, and the need for more comprehensive means of support for victims.

While the case is ongoing and the pursuit of justice is of utmost importance, attention should also be given to providing the necessary support and care for the victim, who is dealing with the trauma while preparing for the arrival of a new life.

Remember, anyone with information related to this case is urged to contact the local police department or Crime Stoppers immediately. Your information could potentially save lives and prevent future acts of domestic violence.
