Then, don’t miss the Krewe of Centaur Parade set for February 22, 2024, at 3:30 p.m., followed by another showing from the Krewe of Gemini at the same time on March 1, 2024. Both parades will launch from downtown, winding through Clyde Fant Parkway, taking a left at Shreveport-Barksdale Highway, and heading south on E. Kings.

And just when you think the fun is over, the Krewe of Highland Parade promises to be a highlight on March 2, 2024, starting at 1 p.m. This moderate route will meander down Herndon Street, Centenary Blvd., Gladstone Blvd., and Creswell Avenue, ensuring that everyone can join in on the cheerful activity!

For example, it’s estimated that sponsoring the African-American History Parade will cost around $29,345!
