In an intriguing turnover of events, a man reported missing has been found, according to Shreveport Police Department (SPD). Joseph Malone, aged 40, disappeared mysteriously after leaving Uprising Addiction Center located on Klug Pines Road, Shreveport.

From Missing to Found: Timeline of Events

The suspense-filled case started when Malone, on 5th April, reportedly left the addiction center and went off the grid. The Shreveport Police Department subsequently launched an investigation in partnership with the Minden Police Department.

The concerted effort paid off when the man was located safe. The SPD have not released further details about his disappearance or how they managed to locate him. However, police have revealed that Malone’s family, who were previously seen as “deeply worried”, has been notified of his safe return.

The Urgent Appeal for Information

Police had earlier implored the public to help them trace Malone. On their public plea, they said, “Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be critical in finding him.”

Numbers were made available for the public to reach out to the police with any information they might have had regarding his whereabouts. Police emphasized the utmost importance of the public’s role in such a quest, acknowledging that collaboration often leads to desirable outcomes.

Commendable Efforts of the Police

The police departments’ tenacious efforts seem to have borne fruit as the distressed family now breathes a sigh of relief. The Shreveport community is commending the swift and dedicated way these departments have worked together in locating Malone.

Case Closed?

Although the man has been located, questions are arising about the circumstances surrounding his mysterious disappearance. At this point, it is unclear whether police will not provide further communication about the case.

However, the discovery of Malone has caused some respite in the city, which has been in the media headlines lately following several other incidents. Despite the incident, the community remains hopeful, and the resolution of this case provides a much-needed sigh of relief.
