The Shreveport Police Department informed local community members and the public that O’Kray had been missing since April 18.
O’Kray disappeared from the Highland neighborhood on April 18. He was last noticed on the 200 block of East Washington Street. Described as having black hair and brown eyes, O’Kray was remembered wearing black pants, a white shirt, a black hoodie, and a cream-colored hat. He was also seen carrying two backpacks. The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) was instantly on high alert, seeking any information on the young man’s whereabouts.
The local law enforcement’s appeals bore fruit on April 24 when the SPD was able to confirm that the young man had been found secure and sound. The details about where and how he was found have not been released.
Residents of Shreveport played a significant part, showcasing community spirit by spreading the word and cooperating with law enforcement’s investigation. The Shreveport Police Department is appreciative of the community’s involvement and help in locating the missing teenager.

It exemplifies how a united front can help ensure the safety of all community members, particularly young people. The Shreveport Police Department continues urging the public to remain vigilant and promote awareness regarding missing individuals, which may assist in accelerated resolution and reunions of missing persons with their loved ones.
