Attention Shreveport Residents: Two Missing Teens!

Hey there, Shreveport! We have some concerning news that we need to share with everyone in the community. Two teens have been reported missing, and the Shreveport Police Department is reaching out for your help in locating them. It’s crucial that we all come together to support our local law enforcement in finding these young individuals.

Meet Ken’Yon Creighton

First up is Ken’Yon Creighton, a 16-year-old boy who was last seen on Wednesday, March 19, around 10:03 a.m. Ken’Yon was spotted leaving his home in the 4300 block of Akard Avenue. If you have any information about his whereabouts, we urge you to keep an eye out!

Now, let’s talk about what Ken’Yon was wearing at the time. He had on ripped blue jeans paired with a gray hoodie that has white and yellow writing on the arms and chest. He finished off his look with a pair of gray Jordans with a purplish tint. How stylish! But even more important is what he was carrying: a striking black and white backpack. If you see someone matching this description, please pay extra close attention!

Ken’Yon is a Black male with chin-length dreadlocks in a combination of black, brown, or tan shades. This might help you identify him should you happen to see him out and about. Remember, getting the word out could make all the difference, so let’s spread the information as far and wide as we can.

And Now, Shonnie Hamilton

The second case is that of Shonnie Hamilton, who is also just 16 years old. She was reported missing on the same day, March 19, and was last seen in the 4100 block of Powell Street. It’s heartbreaking to think of this young girl not being safe, and her family is undoubtedly worried sick.

Shonnie is described as standing at 5’2″ and weighing approximately 150 lbs. She has brown eyes and her hair is black. What makes her situation even more concerning is that she requires medication for her health—medication she is not currently taking. Time is of the essence!

How You Can Help

If you have seen Shonnie or have any information regarding her whereabouts, the police are counting on you! Please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can contact the Shreveport Police Department directly at (318) 673-7300. You can also connect with Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373, where you can remain anonymous if you prefer.

Even if you feel that your information is minor, it could be just what the police need to locate these teens and bring them back home safely. Remember, we all share in the responsibility of looking out for one another in our community!

A Call to the Community

It’s essential for us to stick together during challenging times like these. Let’s be the eyes and ears of Shreveport. Talk to your friends, share this information on your social media accounts, and let’s help the police bring Ken’Yon and Shonnie back to their families.

We’re all hoping for a positive outcome in these cases. Take a moment to keep these two teens in your thoughts, and let’s do our best to locate them as soon as possible!
