Multiple New Businesses Set to Arrive in South Bossier City

Transforming South Bossier City

BOSSIER CITY, LA. — Amidst the buzzing noise of construction near Brookshire’s Grocery Arena, change is on the horizon for South Bossier City. City officials have recently announced that an array of new businesses is set to open their doors in this rapidly developing area.

A private investor from Shreveport has initiated the construction of numerous business establishments. Among the planned structures, there is a billiard hall that will cater to all ages, a strip mall already packed with signed leases, and a new hotel. Further diversifying the area’s entertainment scene, the planned billiard hall will house a junior pool league, making it a family-friendly locale.

Feeding the Appetite for Change

The development site, nestled near the Jimmy Davis Bridge, will not only offer a restaurant within the billiard hall, but also more services once construction is completed.

City councilman Brian Hammons shares his excitement for the up and coming South Bossier City, “North Bossier gets everything and everything like that. A lot of the big chain stores we’re not going to get down here in South Bossier. So, we would love to have more come.”

These new additions will not only support local businesses but also boost the city’s revenue and job market. There is no differentiation between North and South Bossier anymore; the entire city is now open for growth and business opportunities.

Opening Corridors for Future Growth

The city officials have confirmed that once the new Jimmy Davis Bridge is completed, the corridor will open, granting a broader customer base and more potential for expansion. The South Bossier enrichment does not stop at providing new recreation and hospitality locales; it also brings a host of employment openings with it.

Construction of this ambitious project is in full swing and is expected to go live by the end of 2024. The culmination of this endeavour will mark an important milestone for South Bossier City, helping it carve out a strong place on the business and investment map.
