As the excitement from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games settles, gymnastic fans have plenty more to get thrilled about. Starting January 3, 2025, a remarkable lineup of 14 Olympic gymnasts is set to infuse the NCAA gymnastics season with their extraordinary skills and medal-winning experience. With teams from across the United States, Canada, the UK, and the Philippines, this season promises to be one for the books!

Celebrating Gold

Team USA rejoiced when Simone Biles, Jade Carey, and Jordan Chiles celebrated their gold medals during the dazzling artistic gymnastics women’s team final on July 30, 2024, at the iconic Bercy Arena in Paris. The air was electric with anticipation as these athletes showcased their talent, determination, and dedication. Now, they are ready to bring that same passion to the college gymnastics scene!

Back in College Colors

Jade Carey, a name synonymous with gymnastics greatness – she’s a two-time Olympian and holds three Olympic medals! Carey is returning to Oregon State for her senior year, with one goal in mind: clinching an NCAA title. With an incredible record of 12 perfect 10.0 scores, she is adamant about expanding her already impressive accolades and focusing on individual titles this season.

Then there’s Jordan Chiles, the dazzling Olympian bringing her newfound gold medal back to UCLA. Having gained invaluable experience at the Olympics, she is geared up to lead the Bruins through a thrilling season, showcasing her talent and helping the team soar to success.

New Talent on the Block

Over at LSU, Aleah Finnegan, the star who clinched a national title, is ready to return and defend her team’s title in 2025. Following in those talented footsteps is Emma Malabuyo, who recently shined while representing the Philippines. She is expected to make a splash for the UCLA Bruins this season as she transitions from international to collegiate gymnastics.

Global Representation

As if that weren’t exciting enough, several athletes are representing their home countries with pride. Csenge Bácskay, a two-time Hungarian National Champion, finished 12th on the vault at the Olympics. Now, as a member of the Georgia GymDogs, she brings her remarkable talent to the college stage.

Other athletes, like Emma Spence and Ava Stewart, also join their respective teams – Spence looking to guide Nebraska after being an alternate on the Canadian Olympic team, while Stewart arrives at Minnesota after impressively contributing to Canada’s performance in two consecutive Olympic Games. The atmosphere is charged with their international experience.

Exciting Additions

Leanne Wong, a former World Champion and a key member of Team USA, is returning to Florida for her last year with eye-catching ambitions for the NCAA team title.
