BOSSIER CITY, La. – A cornerstone of community entertainment in Bossier City, Party Central Family Fun Center, has made the heart-wrenching announcement that they will be permanently closing their doors after nearly three decades of service.
The family-owned business, located at 4401 Viking Dr., revealed in a Facebook post this Wednesday that the owners have decided to retire and sell the property to private investors. The final day for full-service operation is scheduled for Saturday, May 25, with the venue officially closing down the next day. Arcades and mini golf will remain open until 8 PM. Patrons with gift cards, tokens, and tickets, are urged to redeem them by Saturday.
In their farewell message to their loyal clientele, the owners expressed their profound gratitude and the bitter-sweet emotions associated with the closure:
“Friends of Party Central, With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we announce the closing of Party Central Family Fun Center. After nearly three decades of laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories, we have decided to retire and sell the property to private investors.”
Since its inception in 1996 as a home-based rental company, Party Central, which moved to its Viking Drive location in 2000, evolved beyond just a fun center. It became a repository of countless cherished memories for the local community, hosting birthday parties, family gatherings, and special events.
The owners expressed heartfelt thanks to their current and former employees, who they consider to be a significant contributor to their successful journey.
