Good news, Bossier City! The Silver Alert for 68-year-old Ruby Williams has been officially cancelled after she was located safe and sound. This update comes directly from the Louisiana State Police, bringing relief to many who were deeply concerned.
What Happened?
Ruby Williams was reported missing after she was last seen early Monday morning at 3985 Airline Drive in Bossier City. The local authorities acted quickly, issuing a Silver Alert that evening around 7:24 PM. Given that Ruby suffers from a medical condition affecting her judgment, the urgency to locate her was critical. She has a history of getting lost, which made her situation all the more troubling.
A Description for Awareness
For those who might have been on the lookout, Ruby is described as a black female with gray hair and brown eyes. At the time she went missing, she may have been wearing a brown wig. Standing at 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds, she was spotted wearing a black shirt, a stylish sleeveless leopard-print jacket layered over a black jacket with green and red stripes near her wrists, along with black pants and white shoes. It’s believed she was traveling on foot in an unknown direction.
