Shreveport Choir Celebrates 15 Years of Joyful Harmonies!
In the heart of Shreveport, Louisiana, a vibrant celebration is underway as the Hattie Perry Community Center Choir marks its incredible 15th anniversary. The theme of the upcoming program is “We’ve Come to Praise Him”, and you won’t want to miss it! A Journey of Harmony Since 2009
The choir’s journey began with their first rehearsal on October 8, 2009. Fast forward to today, and they are still going strong. Two of the original 12 members, Jacqueline Solomon and another passionate singer, remain dedicated to this uplifting initiative that has become a staple in the community.
Jacqueline, who has been with the choir from the very start, shares her feelings about this milestone, saying, “We just like to get together and sing praises to God.” Her enthusiasm is contagious, and it’s clear that the fellowship and camaraderie within the choir extend beyond just music.

Some have been in the choir and they’ve passed on, then we always get others to come and be in the choir with us,” she commented warmly.
