Art Exhibitions Not to Miss!

The Louisiana State Exhibit Museum is showcasing the intriguing exhibition “Rogue Reality — An Artificial Journey Through Intelligence” through November 27th. This thought-provoking display features the works of talented artists Jeremy Johnson and Hillary George. Best of all, it’s free to enter! Just around the corner, on December 3rd, the Bossier Arts Council will launch its latest exhibit titled “Dreamspace”. Be sure to check it out until January 28th in the East Bank Gallery. And don’t miss the opening reception on December 6th from 6-8 p.m.!

Pottery and Animal Arts Galore!

Starting December 8th and running through January 3rd, the Louisiana Society of Animal Artists and LSUS Mud Mavens Pottery will be showcased at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum. The opening reception on December 8th from 2-4 p.m. is a great chance to mingle and appreciate some creative talents – and yes, again, it’s free!

Additionally, if you’re a fan of contemporary art, the Artspace on Texas Street is hosting two exhibitions currently. Joey Slaughter’s display, “I Think We Will Be Fine From Here”, brings together various thoughts and conversations while “The Modern Figurative” exhibition invites you to explore the evolving language of figurative art from several contemporary artists. Both shows will run through December 21st, so take the time to stop by!

Live Music and Nightlife Thrills!

The music scene is just as vibrant! From cozy lounges to buzzing nightclubs, there’s no shortage of live music in Shreveport.
