Shreveport Film Class Scene
The vibrant city of Shreveport is once again making headlines in the film world. The Robinson Film Center is stepping up to support aspiring filmmakers by offering an engaging class specifically designed for those interested in becoming a Production Assistant (PA) in the film and television industry.
Entitled Ready, Set, Go! PA Class, this course is geared towards teaching participants about essential aspects of life on set. From understanding general PA duties to mastering set etiquette, learners will gain insights into how a film set operates.
The class promises to cover a multitude of topics, including:
Participants will benefit from the knowledge of seasoned professionals who have spent decades in film and television. This class aims to answer a common question for newcomers, which is, “How do you get started in the film industry?”
The Ready, Set, Go! PA Class consists of three sessions, each priced at $100, and will take place upstairs in the event space at the Robinson Film Center. The scheduled dates are August 25, September 1, and September 8, with each class running from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Please note that sessions must be purchased as a complete package.
