Shreveport Superintendent Hits the Ground Running with Listening Tour!

SHREVEPORT, La. – Exciting times are ahead for the Caddo Parish Schools as new Superintendent Keith Burton kicks off his much-anticipated listening tour! The first stop was at Booker T. Washington High School, where he engaged with parents, teachers, staff, students, and anyone in the community eager to share their thoughts. It’s all about connecting with those who know the schools best!

Finally, Burton emphasized the importance of having the very best teachers in the classroom. “We know that not every school is getting the top-notch educators they deserve,” he pointed out. To combat this challenge, he announced several incentives designed to attract talented teachers to the district’s most in-need schools. “We’re serious about this,” he said with conviction.
