Shreveport Weather: Foggy Mornings Meet Sunny Days!

Good morning, Shreveport! If you’re stepping out today, you might want to take a moment to appreciate the dense fog that’s settled in across the ArkLaTex. The fog is particularly thick for those of you in the southern half of the region, so be cautious if you’re driving!

Clear Skies Ahead

But don’t worry— by mid-morning, those clouds will start to disappear, and we can expect a completely sunny day ahead. That’s right, folks—no rain is on the horizon! As temperatures rise, we’ll see highs reaching the upper 70s to the lower 80s. Sounds like a perfect day to grab your sunglasses and enjoy some time outside!

What’s Coming Next?

Tomorrow promises more of the same lovely weather. Expect more sunshine with zero chances of rain. However, it’s worth noting that you might have to contend with some fog once again in the morning. But don’t let that hold you back! It will clear up, leaving us with comfortable highs in the upper 70s.

A Glimmer of Rain

Back to the Sunshine

Good news ahead: starting Thursday and lasting through Saturday, we’re back to completely dry and sunny conditions. It’s the kind of weather that makes you want to take long walks or maybe have a picnic in the park.

Temperature Watch

low 70s. But fear not! Come Sunday, temps will bounce back up into the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Safety Reminder: Fog Advisory

Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 AM CST this morning for parts of south central and southwest Arkansas, north central and northwest Louisiana, and east and northeast Texas. Drive safely out there, folks!

Celebrating Veterans Day

Veterans Day. It’s a wonderful opportunity to honor and show gratitude to all our veterans for their service to our country. So take a moment to thank a veteran you know or engage in community activities in their honor.

As we wrap up this weather update, embrace the clear skies, enjoy the sunshine, and make the most out of your day, Shreveport!
