With just a week to go until the spookiest night of the year, the community is buzzing with excitement for the numerous trunk or treat events planned for Saturday, Oct. 26. If you’re on the lookout for some cheerful, family-friendly activities, there’s plenty to keep you busy this weekend!
First up is the annual trunk or treat hosted by Pediatric Dentistry of Shreveport-Bossier. This year, it’s taking place at their fabulous new office located at 4325 Airline Dr., Bossier City. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., the public is invited to join in the fun. They promise a delightful evening filled with candy, games, and lots of smiling faces. A great chance for kids to dress up in their favorite costumes and enjoy a safe environment to trick-or-treat!
Next on the list is the Blanchard Athletic Club (BAC), which is hosting its second trunk or treat at the ballpark. This year’s event promises to be “BIGGER AND BETTER” than last year, and they’re sure to deliver! With 17 trunks offering full-sized candy bars, pumpkins, and mouthwatering concessions, there’s no shortage of fun. Make your way to 300 N. Front St., Blanchard at 5 p.m. and experience a festive atmosphere that’s hard to beat!
If classic cars catch your eye, don’t miss the trunk or treat event hosted by the Louisiana Classics Auto Club at BeauxJax Crafthouse located at 501 Barksdale Blvd., Bossier City. Happening from noon to 4 p.m., this event combines classic vehicles with a day of family-friendly festivity. The vehicles will be elegantly decorated and there will be lots to see and do. Interested in showcasing a vehicle? Make sure to register quickly for just $25 online before the event, or $30 on-site!
Looking for a community vibe? The First United Methodist Church (FUMC) in Bossier is holding its annual trunk or treat from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It’s open to everyone and is completely free. With plenty of candy, games, food trucks, and even a trunk decorating contest, it’s a wonderful way to gather with friends and family. Head over to 201 John Wesley Blvd., Bossier City for an afternoon full of laughter and fun!
Last but certainly not least, Karate USA will be hosting its own trunk or treat event in its parking lot on Youree Dr. Registration is required, so make sure to sign up in advance through their link!
