Shreveport

SporTran to be closed on Fourth of July

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – SporTran Transit says they will be closed on Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day. The closure includes all transit services, facilities, and administrative offices. Services will resume Friday, July 5 as normal. The administration office will reopen Monday, July 8.

Holiday Closure

As the nation prepares to celebrate Independence Day, SporTran Transit in Shreveport will be observing the holiday by closing its services on July 4. This closure encompasses all transit services provided by SporTran, its facilities, and administrative offices. Riders and commuters who depend on SporTran for transportation are advised to make alternate arrangements on this day.

Resumption of Services

Normal operations of SporTran Transit will resume on Friday, July 5. This includes the regular schedule of bus routes and other transportation services provided by SporTran. Commuters can expect services to operate as per the usual schedule from this day onwards.

Administrative Office Reopening

While transit services will be back in operation on July 5, the administrative offices of SporTran will remain closed on that day as well. The administrative office is set to reopen on Monday, July 8, to resume regular business hours and administrative functions.
