Goodwill Industries and United Way Team Up for Back-to-School Supply Drive

Goodwill Industries, United Way Partner to Host School Supply Drive

Back to School

Shreveport, Louisiana – It’s time to get those little ones ready to head back to school and equipped with everything they need for a successful school year.

Tuesday, the United Way of Northwest Louisiana is partnering with Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana in hosting a back-to-school donation drive to collect children’s clothes, plain uniforms, backpacks, and school supplies.

The drive is happening Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the parking lot at 820 Jordan St. in Shreveport. Donors who donate will receive a 10 percent off coupon to use at any Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana location.

Goodwill will keep all clothing items, and United Way will collect the supplies to support its Fill the Bus initiative.
