This initiative was detailed at a news conference led by a Special Agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Special Agent in Charge Lyonel Myrthil explained the collaborative nature of this operation, stating, “We worked in partnership with federal, state, and local agencies to take the most violent individuals off our streets.”
